Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
WallAura ("we", "us", "our") provides two products. The first is our web AI creative studio at wallaura.app, where you turn a reference motion clip and a character or source image into short vertical AI videos for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, and where you also generate AI images. Every render is saved to your account library. The second is our mobile wallpaper app (bundle com.aurawall.app) on iOS and Android, where you browse curated wallpapers and generate AI images.
This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. It covers both the web service and the mobile app. By using either product, you acknowledge the practices described here.
1. The Products This Policy Covers
The web studio at wallaura.app is an account-based AI creative tool. You sign in, upload a motion reference clip and a source image, enter text prompts, and generate short vertical AI videos and AI images. Your generated outputs are stored in an account library on our servers, along with your prompts, settings, and credit balance.
The mobile app (com.aurawall.app) lets you browse curated wallpapers and generate AI images on your device. Some app data may be stored locally on your device, and AI generation in the app sends data to our providers as described in Section 4.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information — for the web service, your account email, authentication identifiers, and a signed-in session that ties your activity to your account.
- Text prompts you enter to generate images and videos.
- Uploaded source images, which may include the likeness or faces of real people.
- Uploaded motion reference video clips used to drive the motion of generated videos.
- Generated outputs — the AI images and video clips you create, saved to your account library on our servers (web service).
- Credit balance — your available credits, tracked server-side against your account.
- Purchase and subscription status for both web and mobile. On mobile, purchases and entitlements are managed through RevenueCat, tied to a store account identifier.
- Device, usage, and diagnostic data — including app version, general usage, and crash and error reports, used to operate and improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI image and video generation from your prompts, uploaded images, and reference clips.
- To operate your account and store your outputs, prompts, and settings in your library.
- To track your credit balance, subscriptions, and top-up purchases.
- To diagnose problems, fix bugs, and improve the product.
- To maintain security and to filter or block content that violates our terms or our providers' policies.
- To send you service-related communications. We do not send marketing without your consent.
Where the law requires a lawful basis to process your data, we rely on performing our contract with you (to provide the Service), your consent (including for processing the media you choose to upload), and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service.
4. AI Generation and Third-Party AI Providers
To perform generation in both the web studio and the mobile app, we send your text prompts, uploaded source images, uploaded reference clips, and generated outputs to third-party AI aggregators. These aggregators are KIE (kie.ai) and PiAPI, which route your data to the underlying model vendors to produce your images and videos.
The models available include Kling 3.0 (Kuaishou), Veo 3.1 (Google), Seedance (ByteDance), Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 4.5, GPT Image 2 (OpenAI), Wan 2.6, and Motion Control. Your data is processed by these providers under their own privacy terms, and they may retain it according to their own policies. Content limits vary by model and provider.
5. Uploaded Media, Likeness, and Biometric Data
The source images and reference clips you upload may contain the likeness or faces of real people. In some regions, images of identifiable people may be treated as biometric or special-category data. You must have the rights and consent necessary to use any media you upload, including the likeness of any person depicted in it, and by uploading it you provide your consent for us and our providers to process it to generate your content.
We may ask you to confirm that you have the consent needed before generating, but doing so does not relieve you of this responsibility, and we do not independently verify the consent of people who appear in your uploads. You are responsible for ensuring that your uploads and the content you create comply with applicable law and with the rights of any person whose likeness appears in your media.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Web subscriptions and one-time top-ups are processed by our third-party web payment processor, Whop. Mobile in-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and are managed via RevenueCat. WallAura never stores full payment-card numbers.
Subscription plans (Explore, Creator, Scale, and Volume, with cheaper annual billing) grant a monthly credit allowance that refreshes each billing period. One-time top-up credit packs do not expire and stay attached to your account. Credits are reserved only when a render starts; if a provider job fails or is canceled, the held credits are returned. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
7. Other Third-Party Services
- Hosting and infrastructure — used to store and serve your account library and account data for the web service.
- Analytics — used to understand usage and improve the product.
- Crash and performance reporting — used to detect and fix errors.
- Expo — provides the build, over-the-air update, and crash-reporting services used to operate the mobile app.
We do not sell your personal data.
8. International Data Transfers
WallAura works with providers located in different countries. When you generate content, your prompts, uploads, and outputs are sent to our AI aggregators (KIE and PiAPI) and to the underlying model vendors, some of which operate outside your country — including in the United States and, for some models, in China (for example, Kling by Kuaishou and Seedance by ByteDance). Our payment and infrastructure providers may also process data outside your country.
This means your data, including images that may contain faces, may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own. By using the Service and uploading media, you understand and agree to these transfers as a necessary part of providing the generation you request.
9. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
For the web service, your generated images and video clips are stored in your account library on our servers, along with your prompts, settings, and credit balance. We retain this data until you delete it or close your account. For the mobile app, some data may be stored locally on your device.
Diagnostic, usage, and crash data are retained for a limited period for security and product-improvement purposes. Data sent to our AI and payment providers is retained by them under their own policies, which we do not control. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Use of Your Generated Content
WallAura is built for creators to make and post content. Commercial and creator use of the clips and images you generate is permitted. To the extent permitted by applicable law and the relevant model provider's terms, you keep the rights you have in the outputs you generate.
You are responsible for how your prompts, uploads, and outputs are used. We may filter or block content that violates our terms or the policies of our AI providers.
11. Children's Privacy
Our products are not directed at children under 13, or under the higher minimum age that applies where you live (such as 16 in parts of the European Union), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
12. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the CCPA, and similar laws, including the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, including your account data and stored outputs.
- Delete your data, including individual library items and your entire account.
- Portability — receive a copy of your data, including your generated outputs, in a usable format.
- Opt out of certain data collection and processing, and withdraw consent, where applicable.
These rights apply to both your web account and the mobile app. To exercise any of them, contact us at [email protected].
13. How to Delete Your Data
For the web service, you can delete individual items from your account library at any time. To delete your account along with its associated prompts, outputs, settings, and credit data, contact us at [email protected] and we will process your request.
For the mobile app, you can remove locally stored data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. To request deletion of any account-linked data, contact us at the address above.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will notify you of material changes where we reasonably can, such as through the service or the email on your account. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
15. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
